Water Activities

As long as there have been summer camps, there have been fun, water activities. Swimming is a tradition that not only cools you off on a hot, summer day, but it also helps campers develop athleticism, leadership and team-building skills.

The swimming area at Lake Amity is divided into three areas and each camper is individually tested to make sure they're always in safe water.

In addition to swimming in scenic Lake Amity, campers also have the opportunity to experience other water-based activities. Canoes, paddleboats, kayaks and other watercraft are available for campers to use. A trained counselor is on the water at all times, making sure everyone is following safety guidelines.
