Mornings at Camp Amity Acres begin with an opening ceremony and flag-raising, followed by a rundown of the day’s activities. From there, campers go to their unit (their home base) where they prepare for a day of fun and excitement. Every day features swimming, plus a variety of activities that may include archery, boating, nature exploration, arts and crafts, climbing wall, zip line and other team-building activities.
Once a week, campers are welcome to stay late for a night around the campfire with more fun camp activities and dinner (weather permitting).

Bullseye! With the help of a certified instructor, campers will get the opportunity to learn how to safely use a bow and improve their shooting technique.

Arts and Crafts

A variety of artistic opportunities are available to Amity Acres campers. Wacky Beads are the highlight of every camp week, but young artists also have the chance to paint, draw and complete classic camp crafts.

Girl Scout Badges

Exclusive to Basic Camp: Girls in kindergarten through eighth grade can earn Girl Scout badges to place on their uniforms and wear all year round. These badges are exclusive to Girl Scouts and are available to earn at Girl Scout Camp.

Under the supervision of trained specialists, campers learn how to boat and canoe safely as they paddle or row across the lake.

Camp Color Clash

During one special week of camp, campers are divided into teams and compete in a variety of exciting challenges. Bragging rights go to the team with the most points at the end of the week.

Camp Trading Post

Every camper receives a camp t-shirt and mug for camp with their registration, but we have other incredible swag available to purchase, and it’s all available when you register for camp. Plus, we have some great camp clothing available so you can show your Amity Acres pride.

Climbing Wall

Reaching new heights can be taken literally on Amity Acres’ climbing wall! Campers entering fourth grade and above challenge themselves to discover how high they can climb.

Every day, our campers have the opportunity to cool off in the swimming area of our natural lake. Play games with friends, swim or just enjoy, refresh and get ready for your next camp adventure!

Trust and teamwork are essential in life, and Amity Acres’ low-ropes course demonstrates its importance to campers in a fun and challenging way.

Water Trampoline

Campers love our water trampoline! Located on our lake and closely watched by lifeguards, jumping into the cool water is always a thrill.

Zip Line

Nothing is more exhilarating than feeling the wind against your face while flying down our zip line. Available for campers entering fourth grade and older.
