CAMP SESSIONS

Camp Amity Acres is open to EVERY girl who aspires to challenge herself in the outdoors! Our qualified camp staff complete regular courses, webinars, and trainings offered by Girl Scouts USA, the American Camp Association, and other organizations to ensure campers are safe. Whether you’re looking for a camp experience that lasts a week or all summer long, we provide a summer experience filled with adventure, friendship and fun.

Camp Amity Acres is a camp for girls, however, we also provide a safe place for sibling brothers between the ages of 3-12. Most activities are separated from each other except for an occasional joint activity.

Our summer program at Camp Amity Acres begins on Monday, June 21, 2021 and continues through Friday, August 20; there is no camp on Monday, July 5. Camp begins every day at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.

Campers should bring a lunch, snack and reusable water bottle to camp every day.

Basic Camp

All Weeks

It’s not basic; it’s extraordinary. Our traditional camp experience features everything you would expect, including a wide variety of age-appropriate fun and exciting activities including archery, boating, nature hikes, swimming, arts and crafts, and more. Plus, girls in kindergarten through eighth grade can earn Girl Scout badges to place on their uniforms and wear all year round. These badges are exclusive to Girl Scouts and are available to earn at Camp Amity Acres.

Firefly Unit

All Weeks - Ages 3-4

Our youngest campers, ages 3 and 4, light up camp with their excitement and imagination. These young girls and boys spend time together enjoying age-appropriate activities, including swimming, every day!

Boys Unit

All Weeks

Sibling brothers between the ages of 5 - 12 are welcome. Boys enjoy the same activities as the girls, but with their own buddies!

Leadership Opportunities

Multiple Weeks

Girls entering 8th grade and older in September 2021 can develop their leadership abilities further, focus on outdoor skill-building, and learn how to mentor younger campers.
